神奈川県生まれ。
15歳でモデル・デビュー以来、アジアのトップモデルとして世界各国のSHOW、雑誌、広告等で活躍を続ける。
2001年第45回FECモデルオブザイヤーをはじめ、現在まで数々の賞を受賞。
最近は、テレビ出演や、ラジオやテレビののパーソナリティとしてレギュラー番組を担当する等、活動の場面を拡げている。
WFP 国連世界食糧計画のオフィシャルサポーターや、国際協力NGO ジョイセフ（公益財団法人）のアンバサダーとして、社会貢献活動も活発に行っている。
今年、デビュー15周年を迎える。
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Model debuts at the age of 15, since then she has been making career in numerous Shows, magazines, and advertisements as a top model all over the world.
Awarded numerous prizes, including a 45th model of the year from Fashion Editors Club of Japan in the year 2001.
Recently, the scene of the activity has been expanded to different field, taking a charge of the regular program in TV and radio as a navigator.
Also, she focuses on the social contribution and works as an official supporter of The United nations World Food Programme and an ambassador of The Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning (JOICFP).
